How to Care For Your Pumpin’ Pal Flanges

  • Handwashing is recommended, using warm water and a grease-cutting dish soap that doesn't leave a residue. We recommend our Pumpin’ Pal Foamin’ Flange Wash, or Dawn dish soap (the one with the yellow duck on the bottle)!
  • Flanges are dishwasher safe (top-rack only), but be aware that most dishwasher detergents can leave a residue.
  • Silicone (2XS,XS,S–only) and hard-poly flanges can be boiled to sterilize.
  • After first use, flanges can be steamed in microwavable steam bag (only 2-3 minutes necessary).
  • For UV sterilization: Hard-poly flanges ONLY!
  • DO NOT use UV sterilization with silicone flanges — silicone may become hard and crack!

Please note: Exposure to heat from stovetop or microwave once water has burned away can result in parts melting and becoming deformed.
